On February 17, 2025, AWP Technology made its appearance at the International Defense Exhibition & Conference (IDEX 2025) in Abu Dhabi, establishing itself as a significant representative in the field of drone countermeasures. With the rapid development of drone technology, many countries and organizations are increasingly concerned about the potential threats posed by drones to security and defense. Consequently, the emphasis on drone countermeasure technology at IDEX has grown, becoming a major focus of the exhibition.

A key highlight of AWP at IDEX 2025 is its Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology. AWP's International Sales Manager, Jordan, stated: "Traditional drone countermeasure technologies, such as VCO, primarily rely on power suppression, which increases energy consumption and reduces equipment efficiency. Additionally, as drones enhance their anti-jamming capabilities (through techniques like frequency hopping and MIMO antennas), the effectiveness of simple technological approaches like VCO has significantly decreased. Through continuous research and development, AWP has introduced SDR technology, breaking this situation by allowing for more precise and effective interference with drone imagery, control, and satellite links while also reducing overall power consumption, greatly increasing effectiveness. Furthermore, our systems can be remotely upgraded to counter the continuously evolving drone technologies."

The significance of SDR technology lies in its flexibility and scalability, enabling AWP to develop effective drone countermeasure strategies for various application scenarios. Whether in individual soldier operations, team collaborations, vehicle-mounted defenses, or specific applications in the energy sector, AWP's products provide strong support. Through radio interference, AWP's solutions can effectively disrupt a drone's image transmission, control connections, and satellite positioning, preventing malicious missions and ensuring the safety of critical facilities and personnel.

AWP's achievements in the field of drone countermeasures highlight its important position in the global defense market. The company looks forward to utilizing the IDEX 2025 platform to engage with more industry partners and collaboratively advance the development and application of drone countermeasure technologies.
